Dimple

Like many players, I have bought a variety of paddles including Selkirk, Holbrook, etc. Over the past year, my go-to paddle has been the Holbrook ARMA. To be honest, I really liked the paddle and it raised the level of my game.

I was introduced to Dimple, and their Headbanger paddle, a few months ago. I gave it a try, and have not used my Holbrook paddle since then. The paddle provides incredible control and plenty of power. I can place my serve like I have never been able to before. The ability to control my serve and place it where I want it, short, with spin, to the opponent's backhand, or power a deep serve, has changed my game dramatically.

Trust me, you will not be disappointed by Dimple paddles.

I have a little problem with buying a lot of paddles, currently owning about 14 different paddles from most of the major manufacturers. 

About 3 weeks ago, I acquired the Dimple Headbanger 16mm and have put aside all my other paddles (to include the Selkirk Luxx, and Honolulu Sword and Shield J2Ti+, as well as various Diadem and Holbrook) for this Headbanger. For my style of play, this paddle has been perfect. I, initially, did not care for the longer handle, however, with a little time and play, I found myself loving the longer handle. The pop off the face is solid while still maintaining a high degree of control for top spin drops and drives. 

The paddle face texture also allows for a lot of control with spin, whether top spin, side spin, and back spin. 

Overall, this paddle has become my favorite paddle to utilize in all my play. The construction is solid, and the customer service has been impeccable. 

I truly enjoy this paddle and will be acquiring more...I like collecting and trying different paddles.

Even as a more casual player, I can tell the Headbanger paddle gives me better control and feel than anything I’ve used before. It’s a top-tier option for players who rely on placement, spin, and game management at the net, even if you’re not playing every week. I like to play smart, placing shots where they count, and this paddle helps with that. It adds a little extra spin to my shots and makes dinking and soft touches feel a lot more natural.
